Mudras are ancient gestures made with the hands. In particular, Chin mudra, represents the union between universal consciousness, represented by the thumb, and individual consciousness, represented by the index finger.
Human beings feel detuned to Nature, to its universal and conscious energy.
The divine is contained in Nature.
We ourselves are Nature.
We appear to be separated by nature; however, we are only distinct, not separated.
A common consciousness unifies us; something we are not used to feeling, as we have lost the sensitivity to recognise this.
Chin mudra, if practiced consistently through meditation, can produce beneficial effects on the body, mind, and energy.
Chin mudra can give that sense of union that we miss so much!
