The feminine in tattooing

‘The feminine in tattooing’ is a project created to be the poster for the Puerto Rico Tattoo convention 2020, it’s the first convention dedicated to women in tattooing.

he event was unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic and will now take place in December 2022.

The painting represents the different aspects of women: the ‘action’ of tattooing; the ‘patient’ in getting tattooed; the ‘jealousy’ in the female demon Hannya tattooed on the back in traditional Japanese style; the ‘betrayal’ in the decoration of the shirt with the Oiwa lantern; the feminine in the symbol of snakes on the fabric.

Female energy has always been underestimated by people that are afraid of women.

Women are betrayed in many ways, thinking that is the easiest way-out.

This is the easiest way to make people suffer.
